SCHOOL CANCELLED DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER
This message is to inform you, Monday, November 26, all District 89 schools will be closed due to the weather. The National Weather Service has issued a Blizzard warning affecting our area thru 9:00 am. Please know that the safety of our students and staff is our number one priority and the most important factor in our decision making process. It is anticipated school will re-open on Tuesday, November 27, 2018.
As always, when school closures occur due to inclement weather, we will communicate that decision as early as possible through our usual channels – our robo-call telephone system, the district website, and the local and regional television and radio stations (WBBM-780 AM, WGN 720, WIND – 560 and channels 2, 5, 7, 9, and 32). Families may also check the Emergency Closing Center website for emergency closing information.

El Servicio Meteorológico Nacional ha emitido una advertencia de Blizzard que afecta a nuestra área hasta las 9:00 am. Sepa que la seguridad de nuestros estudiantes y personal es nuestra prioridad número uno y el factor más importante en nuestro proceso de toma de decisiones. Se anticipa que la escuela volverá a abrir el martes 27 de noviembre de 2018.
