Welcome to District 89 Online Application Process

District 89 employs approximately 457 full-time employees and 99 part-time employees. Our dedicated faculty and staff work to create a learning environment that is engaging, safe, motivating, and mutually respectful. In District 89 classrooms, students learn through a variety of challenging and engaging lessons that are designed to address individual learning needs and foster active learners.

Being a professional in District 89 means more than just teaching. It means being a part of an outstanding school system with highly trained staff, a mentoring administration, a supportive Board of Education, and an involved community.

To become a part of District 89, all qualified candidates must complete an online application to include a cover letter, personal resume and credentials.  Applicants are responsible for providing proper Illinois Certification.
