Student Registration

Online Registration is NOW open for the 2026–2027 school year!

District 89 will continue using the PowerSchool platform for online registration. Parents and guardians are encouraged to download the PowerSchool Mobile App to easily:

  • View grades and attendance
  • Access schedules and student information
  • Complete registration tasks

As part of the registration process, District 89 is required to verify student residency each year under Illinois law. This year, the District is partnering with National Investigations, Inc. to assist with residency verification.

Families will no longer turn in residency documents directly to schools. If additional information is needed, you will be contacted by National Investigations, Inc. or the District Office. A residency notification letter was shared with families. You may review it here: D89 Notice Letter. More communication and registration details will be shared soon.

Thank you for your cooperation and continued partnership with District 89. For questions, please contact the District Office.
