Board Meeting Training

Board of Education members are required by Illinois law to complete ongoing training in areas such as school finance, governance, and ethics. To promote transparency, you can view a record of all completed trainings by our board members HERE.

Community Involvement at School Board Meeting

Parents and community members are encouraged to attend and share input during the “Comments and Suggestions from the Audience” portion of the board meeting. Speakers should state their name, address, and any group they represent. Each person is typically allowed three minutes to speak, with extended time available by prior request to the superintendent. While the Board welcomes public comment, immediate responses or actions may not occur. The superintendent will provide follow-up or place it on a future agenda if needed.
