Dual Language Application – Washington Dual Language Academy for the 2026–2027 School Year!
The Dual Language Program at Washington Dual Language Academy provides students with the opportunity to become bilingual, biliterate, and bicultural. We welcome families who want their children to thrive in both English and Spanish while maintaining academic excellence.
Application Process
Application Submission
- Families apply for kindergarten enrollment (January 30 – February 27, 2026)
- Indicate sibling status (if applicable)
- Pre-K attendance verification may be required

Language Assessment
- Students may take a language assessment to help maintain a 50/50 balance of English and Spanish speakers
Placement
- Students are placed into groups based on their language background.
- Priority given to siblings already enrolled.
Notification
- Families will be notified by email/mail in early April.
- Acceptance confirmation required within 2 weeks.
- Waitlisted families receive ranking and updates if space becomes available.
