**Welcome Back District 89 Students!!!**
About Mr. Robert Delgado
My love for science was sparked in high school after winning a First place ribbon from the Indiana University of Medicine for developing new techniques for drawing blood from mice and graduating with Honors in Science from Culver Academy. I attended Triton through their Scholar's Program and received my Bachelors degree from Northeastern Illinois University. Later, I received a Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Concordia University. I have been married to my lovely wife for 13 years and have 4 children. This will be my 12th year teaching in District 89, and I am so excited to be teaching Science and Social Studies at Emerson Elementary School. I have an "exploratory" and holistic approach to teaching Science. I want kids to discover the concepts of Science on their own through carefully designed learning experiences and the observations that they make from them.
