School District 89 implements a rigorous Mathematics curriculum in grades K-8. Our vision is to ensure that students learn mathematics at high levels, can make sense of mathematics through real world problems, apply mathematical ideas, engage in complex mathematical tasks, approach the same problem from different perspectives or representing the mathematics in different ways, and have access to high-quality engaging mathematics instruction.
